Trent Craig Nelson Obituary (1980 - 2007)

Trent Craig Nelson ROY - Trent Craig Nelson, 27, was welcomed into Heaven by his grandfather and uncle on Sunday, October 14, 2007. He was born January 28, 1980 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Pamela June Gomm. Trent met Nikki Talbert in 2003 and courted her for several years until their union on September 8, 2007. A devoted worker, husband and father that would do anything for anyone. Trent had a laugh that was unique to him. He enjoyed being with his friends and spending time with his son. He liked to play poker, barbeque, cook and having his friends over. Trent had a great personality and a positive effect on everyone he met. Survived by his wife Nikki and son Korbin, mother Pamela J. Gomm, grandmother Rose Marie Gomm and his twin sister Ashley (Doug) Cook. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles H. Gomm and his uncle David Hardy. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Roy City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a fund has been opened in Nikki and Korbin's name at America First Credit Union. Trent, My loving husband, I hope you know how much you meant to me. You were my world, my heart, my soul. I don't know how to pick up the pieces and move on without you. You were my best friend, my soul mate, my husband, and the greatest dad a little boy could ask for. No one can ever replace you, you are forever a part of me. I miss you.
