Trent Michael Thinnes Obituary (1985 - 2018)

Trent Michael Thinnes 33, is hitting the burms in Heaven due to a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 Trent was born on May 13, 1985 in Ogden, Utah a son of Sharon Kaye Rogerson and Michael Maurice Thinnes. He graduated from Weber High in 2003. Trent married Brandy Lyn Hansen on June 7, 2008 in Mantua, Utah, together they have a daughter Emersyn Jeneal Thinnes. He loved to dirt bike, hunt and camp. Trent met his sweetheart 4-wheeling at Doc's Flats in Mantua. She introduced him to long distance vacationing including a resent work trip to China. This became a passion and he was excited to introduce their daughter, Emersyn, to as many new places as he could. Trent was a dedicated hard worker for Parker-Hannifin for over 12 years. Trent was very ambitious and was just starting a new curbing business with Lone Pine Landscape. He was raised by his parents to be respectful and kind. Trent carried these traits throughout his life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. His smile was contagious and will be dearly missed. His daughter was his life, the highlight of her day was when daddy came home. Trent did anything for his little girl from crafting, coloring, playing games and everything in between. He was the world's best husband, daddy, son, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife: Brandy Lyn Thinnes; daughter Emersyn; parents Michael and Sharon Thinnes; sister Tierney (Brandon) Brower; parents-in-law: Bruce (Kristie) Hansen; siblings in-laws: Paige (Brandon) Vincent; Tyler (Kindall) Hansen; nieces and nephews: Baylee Dement, Koston Brower, JessiLyn Vincent, Sawyer Vincent, and Broox Hansen; grandparents Margaret Thinnes, Ron Holladay and Renae Hansen. Preceded in death by his grandparents: Maurice Thinnes, Kenneth Rogerson; Florence Rogerson and grandparents-in-law: Howard Hansen and Jeneal Holladay. Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the Mantua 2nd Ward Chapel, 237 S. Willard Peak Road. Viewing will be Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Mantua Cemetery. Memorial donations for his wife and daughter may be made to America First Credit Union in Trent's name.
