Trudy (Covey) Lewis Obituary (1966 - 2019)

Trudy Covey Lewis September 12, 1966 to November 15, 2019 Trudy Covey Lewis joined her oldest daughter Laurie Jacobsen in heaven on November 15, 2019. Trudy was born in Ogden Utah on September 12, 1966 to her loving parents Max and Laura Covey. She was raised in Utah with her siblings Darla (Mark) Richards, Kellie (Buddy) Auble, Paula (Deven) Grist, and Max (Katie) Covey. She married the love of her life and best friend Robert Lewis on April 9, 1983. They have been happily married for 36+ years and have two beautiful daughters. Her first daughter Laurie (Robbie) Jacobsen was born on October 13,1983 and their second daughter Samantha (Tyler) Maxfield was born May 14, 1990. Trudy was very proud to work at Autoliv as a design engineer for 20+ years. As an engineer she accomplished many goals such as receiving several patents and traveling to different countries. Trudy enjoyed camping, fishing, ATV's, crafts, and rock n' roll. She loved to spend time with her family and animals. She was proud to be called "Nana" by her 5 grandchildren Tayslie (12) and Breclie (11) Jacobsen. Ryker (11), Dakota (7), and Tyce (8 months) Maxfield. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving wife, mother, daughter, nana, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and many more roles she took on as a kind, giving person. Her grandchildren wanted to share some of their favorite memories with her friends and family as part of her obituary. Ryker said he will miss watching Mountain Monsters with her the most. Dakota will miss sleepovers with Nana. Breclie said she will miss the love and advice she received from Nana. Tayslie said she will miss her beauty and her funny attitude. Tyce will miss her bright smile and the touch of her hands on his face.
