Trudy R. Wood Obituary (1948 - 2013)

Trudy R. Wood Trudy Lynn Royster Wood passed away on December 1, 2013 in her beloved home from cancer. She was born February 15, 1948 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Conley Royster and Patricia Hendricks Royster. She attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High in 1966. She met her soul mate, James Wood, and they married May 12, 1967. They had two sons, Jason and Jeremy. They enjoyed 46 years together before she passed peacefully. She worked at the IRS for 36 years, winning many awards and many friends. Her hobbies included golf, tennis, and going to the family cabin to ride ATV's. She was a master gardener and enjoyed sewing, making crafts, quilts and her famous table runners. She was also the best soccer grandma out there. She was loved by all and she loved all, especially her grandchildren. Trudy is survived by her husband, James; son, Jason J. (Michelle); 3 grandchildren, Baylee, Jessie and JT; her parents; a brother, Rodney (Connie) Royster and her sister, Teri (Jon) Way. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Wood.
