Ty Hadley Hipwell

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away and returned home to his Heavenly Father on March 17, 2024, due to injuries sustained in a tragic ski accident. He was 59.
Ty was born on July 4, 1964 in Ogden, Utah to Gary Beus Hipwell and Tahna Hadley Hipwell. He was raised in West Weber and spent his whole life there. He attended Weber High School and graduated in 1982.
He married Julie Taylor on August 24, 1984 in Farr West and was later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on February 24, 1988. Together they raised three amazing children.
Ty was a hard worker; he never missed a day of work. He started working at Moores (Jeremiah's) as a cook at the age of 16. He later opened his own restaurant and sold it a couple years later. He worked at Wonder Bread until they went out of business then went to work for Franz (US Bakery), where he planned to retire.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings, his most recent was the Ward Clerk.
He valued spending time with his family; they were his everything. He especially liked to watch his grandkids play sports. He enjoyed going on vacation, skiing, golfing, jet skiing, snowmobiling, watching and playing sports, and spending time with friends. He always looked forward to date night every weekend.
