Tyson Wayne Jones Obituary (1984 - 2003)

TYSON WAYNE JONES HOOPER - Tyson Wayne Jones, 18, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 6, 2003, surrounded by his family and friends. Tyson was born June 14, 1984 to Clay Burnett and Debra Kite Jones. He was raised in Roy, attending Valley View Elementary, Sandridge Junior High, Roy High School and Weber State University. In his younger years, Tyson participated in recreation baseball, basketball, football, and competitive soccer. He was on the football team at Sandridge, and the basketball, soccer and football team at Roy High School. He graduated from Roy High School and LDS seminary. Tyson was a Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as secretary in the Deacons quorum, and first counselor in the teachers quorum. He was active in scouting, and earned the rank of Eagle scout. Tyson was a hard worker and enjoyed helping on his Uncle Dan's farm. He worked for A & R Aluminum, Avante Photography, and was currently employed at Lifetime Products. He had a great attitude and enjoyed a good laugh. He loved his friends, music, nintendo, and playing practical jokes. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family. His friends played a big role in his life. Tyson adored his family, and enjoyed family gatherings. He was free spirited and lived every second of his life to the fullest. He will be long remembered for his loyalty and kindness toward his family and friends. He is survived and loved by his parents, his brother, Eric, his sister, Katie, his grandparents, Kent and Dixie Jones, Gary and Margie Kite; his great-grandparents, James and Norma Burnett; his aunts, uncles and cousins: Daniel, Laurie, Jordan, Rachel, Sarah and Joshua Kite; Whendy, Mike, Dusty, Kami, and Kaela Stanlee; Tonya, Gary and Breann Christopherson, Chelsey and Ryan Mezenen, Brandi Treasure; Tricia and Brooke McBride, Alicia, Amanda, Alexis and Aerial Paskett; David, Michelle, Skyler, and Jaden Kite, and Rylee Pack; Clay, Robyn, Parker, and Carson Rumsey; Todd and Ashlee Scott; Scott, Kathy, Jeremy, Jason, and Josh Jones; Brad, Jennifer, Meagen, Courtney, and Hallie Jones; his friends, Tate, Scottie, Dalton, Nick, Tyler, Nick P., John, Jared, Ryan, Julio, Chace, Todd, Shaun O., Adam W., Justin B., Josh A., Beau B., and many others. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James and Genevieve Johnston, Earl and Alene Jones; his grandfather, Wayne C. Anderson; and his cousin Matthew. Tyson showed his compassion for others by being an organ donor. His mission could not be served here on earth but will be served in the spirit world of our Heavenly Father's kingdom.
