Ula Marie Nielsen Cobb Obituary (1908 - 2012)

Ula Cobb BRIGHAM CITY - Ula Marie Nielsen Cobb, 104, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Willow Glen Health & Rehab. Ula was born in Hojlby, Denmark on November 22, 1908 a daughter of Niels Martinus and Anna Marie Christiansen Nielsen. She married Everett (Bud) Cobb on November 22, 1927 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Ula had served faithfully in many capacities in the LDS Church. She was involved in the VFW. She managed the Farr A & W on 4th North and was a cook at Lincoln School and Bushnell Hospital. Surviving are her children: Colleen (Lin) Mjaatvedt, Ogden, UT; Richard Niel (LaRee) Cobb, Ogden, UT; Joan (Ellis) Christensen, Smithfield, UT. She blessed us with five generations totaling 189 descendants. Preceded in death by her husband, six brothers, daughter Norma Jean and son Delwin. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham 12th Ward, 620 N. 300 E., Brigham City. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Thursday from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. at the Church.
