BRIGHAM CITY- Uneta Rock Jensen , 88, passed away on June 11, 2010 at Alpine TRC. She was born November 17, 1921 in Brigham City, Utah to Peter Edwin and Annie Hansen Rock. She married Frank Eldon Jensen on November 3, 1939 in Brigham City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Utah Temple. She was a member of the Brigham City 23rd LDS Ward.

Uneta loved to create beautiful handiwork and make something special for each of her children and grandchildren. She loved to garden, research genealogy, read a good book, and she was an avid Jazz fan. She had a great love for her family and eagerly anticipated each new baby.

She is survived by her children, RoseAnn Pittman, Leah (Milton) Vincent, Linda Fichter, Frank E. (Brenda) Jensen, Jr., Charles (Cindy) Jensen, all of Brigham City. 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, LaPreal Collings, Brigham City; Winona Ballard, Tremonton, UT; sister-in-law Kit Jensen, Roseville, CA; and a niece (that was more like a sister) Ruth Matthews, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Leah Deakin, Tremonton, and Nola Norr, Deweyville; a son-in-law E.R. Fichter, and granddaughter Debbie Bott.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham 23rd Ward, 620 North 300 East.
Friends may call Monday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 East, Brigham City, and Tuesday 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
