Val Larsen

OGDEN - Val Sidney Larsen died at the age of 73 of a lingering illness at Ogden Regional Hospital on December 13, 2003.

Val was born in Georgetown, Idaho on October 8, 1930 to Sidney Joseph and Sylvia Jane Bassett Larsen. He married the love of his life, Barbara, on March 28, 1953.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He was a hard worker; he worked at Hill Air Force Base, Weber County Library and Jones Rental.

Surviving are his son, Edwin; daughter, Vera; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two on the way. He is also survived by his sister, Velma; and two sisters-in-law, Ann and Linda. He was the best husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother-in-law in this world.

He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Barbara; son, Sidney; sister, Betty; and his parents.
