VAL JAY WESTON

ROY - Val Jay Weston, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at his home.

He was born July 30, 1924 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Edwin Earl and Amelia Elizabeth Rose Weston.

He married Della Mae Carter on December 8, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II and the Korean War.

Val was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 17th Ward where he was a High Priest.

He is survived by his wife Della, Roy; children: Dennis Jay (Jalene) Weston, Hooper; Craig Arnold Weston, American Fork; Marcel Earl "Pete" (Susan) Weston, Roy; Shelia Kay (Allen) Paulsen, West Haven; a daughter-in-law, Christy Zobrosky, Clearfield; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Eldon (Faye) Weston, Plain City; Harold (Cleone) Weston, Ogden.

He was preceded in death by a son Lynn Allen Weston, and a great grandson Logan Raleigh Bowles.
