Dawn A. George Obituary (1929 - 2011)

Dawn A. George died October 26, 2011 at home in Brigham City, Utah surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1929 in Wellsville, Utah to Orval D. and Rosella F. Anderson. In 1946 she married Clyde H. Allen, later divorced. To this marriage was born five children: Roger (Roberta) Allen, Hyrum; Deni Crockett, Brigham City; Robert Allen (deceased), Sharee (Randy) Simonsen, Brigham City; Marcie (Joseph) Andrews, Oregon. In 1961 she married Nolan J. George. He died in 2002. In the 43 years they were married they bought and remodeled many houses, something they loved to do together. Special thanks to Heidi, Lindsey, Janet, and Wendy from Alpine Hospice for the wonderful care they showed to our mom and family. Dawn is survived by her four children, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and two brothers: Neil Anderson, Hyrum and Jeff Anderson, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan, her son Robert (Bobby), and her parents; four siblings: DeLoris Hill, Cleve Anderson, Sonny Anderson, LaDell Anderson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, with a viewing Friday, October 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
