Venece Wright Child Hill Obituary (1922 - 2013)

Venece Wright Child Hill CLINTON - Venece Wright Child Hill passed away the morning of January 21, 2013. She was born February 5, 1922 to Percy L. and Ada P. Child. She lived most of her life in Clinton, Utah. She married Lyle S. Hill, December 5, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and several bowling leagues. She loved giving service to others, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, parents, three brothers and one sister. Survived by children: Carolyn (Bruce) Coy, L. Dean (Bonnie) Hill, Norman C. (Raelene) Hill, ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the Intermountain Hospice nurses and Family Tree Assisted Living staff for their kind and loving care. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. A viewing with be held Thursday at the mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
