Together Again. Vera Jeanne Manley Babcock, age 74, peacefully returned home to our Father in Heaven, and reunited with her dear husband, Tom, after two short months of being apart. Jeanne was born December 12, 1943 in Glendale, California to Orva Winegar and James George Manley.

Jeanne married the love of her life, Fount Thomas Babcock Sr. on Sept 26, 1972. They were later sealed for eternity in the Ogden, UT LDS Temple on March 13, 1979. They made their home in North Ogden for 45 years. Together they raised his, hers, theirs, and ours. Vera was a wonderful mother to her family of 12 children, 31 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the North Ogden 12th Ward, where she served in many callings. Together, Jeanne and Tom served in the Missouri, Independence Mission and the Wyoming, Martin's Cove Mission. Their testimonies touched many lives, but especially those of their future generations.

Jeanne truly devoted all of her time and energy into her family and her grandchildren. She had a gift of being a friend to all, and enjoyed welcoming family and friends in to her home. Many memories were made at the family cabin in Island Park, ID with her family and friends. She was a wedding consultant for many years, and also created beautiful wedding cakes and pageant gowns.

Jeanne is survived by her children; Chad Babcock (Valerie), Nikki Whiteley (Todd), Kelsey Hahne (Brian), Melanie Lyells (Jared), Tommy Babcock (Gayanne), Tiffany Babcock, Melvin Mencias (Leah), and step-children Melvin Babcock (Laurel), and Sherry Lynn Kimberlin. She is also survived by her sister, Shar'on Wheeler. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom, her parents, and her step-children Shawna Casey and Rod Babcock.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the North Ogden 12th Ward, 1791 N 600 E, North Ogden. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6-8pm, Friday, January 19th, and prior to the services from 9:30-10:30am on Saturday at the church. Interment will be at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, UT.
