Vickie Lynn Johnson

Vickie Lynn Johnson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 27, 2017. She was born on December 12, 1953 to James Albert Bent, Jr. and Virginia Webster Bowen in Marion, Ohio. She attended Gwinn High School in Michigan and Ogden High School in Utah.

She married William F. Whetton on May 18, 1972 in Harrisville, Utah. They were married for 20 years, then later divorced. She married Steven Johnson on October 9, 1998 then later divorced. She retired after 30 years of service with the IRS.

She enjoyed gambling (Bingo, slots, and craps), playing cards, golf, crocheting, and fishing. She was an avid "Young and the Restless" and Jazz fan. She was also a dedicated lifetime Eagles Lodge member.

Vickie is survived by her children; William F. (Mary) Whetton, Jr. and Virginia "Ginni" L. (Erick) Redfern; her favorite "son", Brady Julian Stephens; 3 grandchildren; Braxton, Camila, and Rhiannon; 2 great-grandchildren; Aiden and Joshua; 2 sisters; Cheryl (Pat) Sorenson and Susan (Grant) Jones; brother, James (Ann) Bent III; and many others whom she mothered. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Sharon Kay Chavez; and her beloved dog, Princess.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Intermountain Hospice care, and the many friends and family who assisted in her care.
