Victor Alan Young Obituary (1933 - 2006)

Victor Young CORINNE - Victor Alan Young, 72, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2006 at McKay- Dee Hospital. He was born July 17, 1933 in Warminster, England to George and Gertrude Alice Young. He married Myra Christine Davis on June 21, 1958 in Frome, England; they later divorced. He married Muriel Shupe on January 21, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV. He served in the Royal Air Force. He was a member of Fraternal Order Eagles and the National Service (Royal Air Force) Association. He was also a member of the Episcopalian church. Victor enjoyed model airplanes, helping people, especially the older generation, and doing brick and rock work. Surviving are his wife Muriel; son Jeremy L. Young of Clearfield; daughter Tracy (Bart) Gross of Ogden; stepchildren: Ronnie Shupe, Royal Shupe, Lois Nicol, David Shupe; four grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, 19 step great grandchildren; and one step great great grandson. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother, Barbara Varney of Layton, Vivian of England, Douglas Young of England; and numerous nieces and nephews in England. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends and family may call on Monday from 12 to 12:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Cremation under the direction of Myers Mortuary in Ogden.
