Viron J Young Obituary (1925 - 2009)

Viron J. Young North Ogden - Viron J. Young died peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2009. He transcended this life as he lived it; with private dignity and personal control. Throughout his 83 years the people he helped were without number. His ideas, schemes and visions shaped the landscape of his family and community and many can count themselves richer for having known him. He was a scholar and a gentleman with a wit as quick and acute as the charm and intellect behind it. He was kind and generous to people and animals alike and could be relied upon, without hesitation, to help and support the lives and dreams of those around him. He poured so much of himself into all of us that of him let it be said: "Everything will pass, and you will still be living. You set fire to life. You made what is yours." Pablo Neruda His last day was spent surrounded by his family, for whom he left a hole so big it will never be filled. He always left us behind for he was always ahead of his time. He is loved and survived by his wife Frances; his children Susan and Pat; his daughter-in-law Karla; his grandchildren Alex, Tristan and Catie and his adoring pup Nina. Fear no more. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday June 20, 2009 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden.
