Vitale Trippodi Obituary (1927 - 2005)

BRIGHAM CITY - Vitale "Vic" Trippodi, became a silent key on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. He was born in New York City, New York on November 14, 1927 to Francisco and Elizabeth Guinnioni Trippodi. Vic was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Vic married Marie F. Straley in Fort Worth Texas on April 10, 1953. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years. He worked at Hill Air Force Base for 26 years. As a Ham Radio operator he worked the world for over 50 years and had many friends. Surviving are his wife, Marie, Brigham City; step-son, Robert R. "Toby" Frye, Brigham City; five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Also a brother, Samuel (Ingrid) Trippodi, Babenhausen, Germany, two nephews and three nieces. It was Vic's wish to be cremated and at his request there will be no viewing or services.
