Von R Stott Obituary (1942 - 2010)

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, Von R. Stott passed away February 24, 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born September 18, 1942 to RW and Joyce Myers Stott in Murray, Utah. Von graduated from Davis High School in 1960 and earned a degree in Logistics Management at Weber State University. He was employed at HAFB as a Logistics Engineer; he retired after 30 years of service. Von will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed his "nother place" in Flaming Gorge, gardening, and collecting treasures. He was a skilled handyman and mechanic. He could fix anything. He is survived by his wife, Leota; daughters, Sonya (John) Anderson, Syracuse, UT; Sonda Stott, West Point, grandsons; Porter, San Diego, CA; Corbin, Garrett and Taylor Anderson all of Syracuse, UT. Brother, Robert (Doris) Stott of Layton, Anita (Rex) Bean of Ogden, UT. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the West Point City Cemetery, 40 North 4000 West, West Point, UT.
