Wanda S. Taylor Green Obituary (1921 - 2014)

Wanda S. Taylor Green WEST HAVEN - Wanda S. Taylor Green, 93, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Peachtree Assisted Living. She was born September 4, 1921 in Ogden, Utah to William James and Zilpha Stokes Sessions. She was a graduate of Davis High School. Wanda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Young Women's, Relief Society and as a Sunday school teacher. She married John M. Taylor and he passed away in 1977. She married Woodrow Green and he passed away 1995. She is survived by her sons, Mark J. (Eileen) Taylor, Robert D. (Madalyn) Taylor, seven grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Verla Goodwin and Darlene Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Zilpha Sessions, her husbands, John M. Taylor, Woodrow Green, Grandson, Joshua B. Taylor, great-grandson, John W. Taylor, Lavar Sessions, Royal Sessions, Myron Sessions, Theral Sessions and Margie Rawson. Special thanks to the friends at Peachtree Assisted Living for their love and concern. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park 836 36th St. Ogden. A viewing will be held Thursday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
