Wanda M. Jones

OGDEN - Wanda M. Jones, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away May 22, 2005.

Wanda was born September 11, 1918 to William and Janet Watson Oliverson. Wanda Oliverson married Donald C. Jones on January 9, 1937; their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Wanda had many jobs in her life, she drove a taxi during World War II, worked at Hill Field, Defense Depot Ogden, and a doctor's office, but the job she loved most was waitressing, she loved to talk and always had a joke. She taught a waitressing class for many years. She went to Yuma, AZ with Dad for 18 years and she loved to golf and travel.

Wanda leaves three children, Dorothy Christiansen, Roger Donald (Diane) Jones, Shanna Dean (George) Fink, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Jones; a son-in-law; two brothers, two sisters-in-law; and three grandchildren.

Mother lived at Emeritus Estates for two years and made many friends there.
