Wardell Julius Payton Ogden - Wardell J. Payton died March 30, 2011 in Ogden. He was born July 15, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Robert Irvin Payton and Jessie Mae Holden Payton Garrett. He married Sharon K. Hayes on June 21, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri. He loved sports and barbeques. He was a people person! He was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Wardell is survived by his wife Sharon; daughters, Nikki (Mark) McCleary, Angel Rashawn, Regina Robinson; granddaughters, Paige and Angelique; sister Ardella (Miles) Payton Tolbert Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Wardell Jr. and brother, Edward Pearson.
