Wayne Richards Price

Wayne Richards Price passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Hearthstone Manor, in Spanish Fork, Utah.
Wayne was born in Cornish, Utah on May 2, 1928 a son of Arthur Price and Ethel May Richards Price. He graduated from North Cache High School.
He served his country in the Army in the Korean Conflict.
He worked as a CTC maintainer for Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years.
Wayne married his sweetheart Elaine Gregory on August 17, 1957 in Cornish, Utah. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on June 3, 1958.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities.
He enjoyed playing golf, baseball, and loved watching sports.
Surviving are his wife Elaine, Smithfield, UT; children: Graig D. (Brenda) Price, Spring Lake, NC; Gary D. (Kathleen) Price, West Point, UT; Richard K. (Laurie) Price, Clearfield, UT; Charlene Price ( Michael) Nester, Spanish Fork, UT; Douglas Wayne (Kathy) Price, Brigham City, UT; Michelle Price (Grant) Robinson, Smithfield, UT; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
Special thanks to the Hearthstone staff and Maple Creek Hospice who were so helpful in the care giving of Wayne. Also special recognition to our angel sister Charlene who cared for him nearly daily, for the last year and a half.
