William (Bill) C. Blansett

OGDEN - William (Bill) C. Blansett of Ogden, died November 24, 2007 in Roy. He was born March 5, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK the son of Adelbert and Lila Thompson Blansett. He married Viola Klingaman October 23, 1955 in CA.

Bill served in the US Navy as a submarine engineman during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed traveling, especially as a part of his profession as a water engineer. He loved to golf.

He was Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Utah Central Railroad.

Bill is survived by his wife Viola; son Don Blansett of Tulelake, CA and four stepdaughters, Pat, Darlene, Carlene and Sharon. He is also survived by two grandchildren Christina and Patrick and many step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Myers Ogden Mortuary Chapel with Pastor David Duncan officiating. Friends and family may call Saturday prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
