Willie Mae Shaw Hall

OGDEN - Willie Mae Shaw Hall was born August 30, 1922 in Brookhaven, Miss. to Marvinia and Emitt Shaw.

She grew up and was educated in Brookhaven, Miss.

In her early years she was employed at Kingdaughter Hospital and later moved to Utah and was employed at Hill Air Force Base and Ogden Defense Depot, where she retired in 1976. She united with the New Zion Baptist Church in the early 50's where she served faithfully until her illness.

Willie Mae married Benny W. Hall February 16, 1948 in Brookhaven, Miss.

Aunt Willie, as she was known by everyone, died on June 21, 2002.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, one daughter, and two sons.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Benny W. Hall, Ogden, Utah; one son, Jackie S. Hall, Ogden; one sister, Aldora Fells, Brookhaven, Miss; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
