Wylie Rawland Otterstrom "Breeze" Click here to listen to Funeral Recording Wylie Rawland Otterstrom, 61, passed away unexpectedly at Ogden Regional Hospital, Friday May 3, 2013. He was born October 25, 1951 to Kenneth and Gloria Otterstrom in Price, Utah. On November 11, 1972 Wylie married the love of his life and best friend, Vickie Lynn Hill in Reno, Nevada. Together they had 2 beautiful daughters, Dayna and Jaime. Wylie served in the Air Force from 1971 - 1977. He also worked and retired from Hill AFB after 25 years of service. Wylie loved going camping, golfing, 4-wheeling and sitting around the campfire playing his guitar and singing. He enjoyed going to his second home at Bear Lake and spending time with his friends and especially his family. If you were lucky enough to meet Wylie you were always considered a friend for life. Anybody who knew Wylie knew they could stop by his shop out back anytime for a cold beverage and reminiscing of old times. One of Wylie's greatest enjoyments was his friends! He loved his friends very much! One of Wylie's greatest pride and joys was his 3 grandkids, Kaden, Lacee and Paige. The bond between Wylie and his grandson Kaden was like no other, they weren't just grandpa and grandson they were "BEST FRIENDS". He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vickie; daughters, Dayna (J.J.) Otterstrom, Jaime (Steve) Ferrin; grandkids, Kaden, Lacee and Paige; his dad , Kenneth; brothers, Allen (Carol), Joe (Becky) and Michael; sisters, Ann, Dayna (Steve), Peggy (Stan) and numerous nieces and Nephews. Also several in-laws who loved him like a brother. Preceded in death by his mother, Gloria; sister, Christine; mother and father-in-law, Elmer and Betty Hill; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Topper and Randy Vaughn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
