ZELLA "RUTH" BINGHAM SCHULZ

ROY - Our beloved mother was welcomed into the arms of Christ on Sunday, March 5, 2006. Her loved ones rejoiced in the families reunion.

She was born December 17, 1921, the 11th of 16 children, to Wilford and Martha Patterson Bingham in Clinton, Utah.

She graduated from Davis High School in 1940.

On April 11, 1942, she married Harry J. Schulz in Preston, Idaho.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 2nd Ward for 48 years. Ruth served as Relief Society President and Choir President for many years, visiting teacher and held many positions for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She retired from Max Factor.

Ruth was the tapestry that held her family together. She loved to travel, especially fishing in Alaska, and was able to see many places all over the world.

She is survived by her six children; Dennis (Ranelle) Schulz of South Weber, UT; Dianne Matola, Orem, UT; Steve Schulz, Vernal, UT; Kathy Oney, South Ogden, UT; Trudy (Leo) Schaaf, Roseville, CA; and Dixie Schulz Kroeger, South Weber, UT. Mom was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, one brother, Gene (Faye) Bingham, Roy, UT/Yuma, AZ; and one sister

Donna Olsen, Salt Lake City, UT. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, and eight brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West, where family and friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

We love you mom and will miss you and appreciate you everyday of our lives.
The family would like to give special thanks to Crestwood Care Center and Hospice for Utah for the excellent care given to their Mom over the last ten months.
