Since 1942, the Myers family has offered quality funeral services to the families of Ogden, Utah and surrounding communities. In 1960, the funeral home moved to its current location on Washington Boulevard, where we continue to serve families today. Though Ogden has grown since our funeral home was first established here, we continue to feel deeply connected to the families of our community and enjoy seeing the difference that our services make in the lives of those we serve.
We take great care to preserve our historic Ogden funeral home but have also made improvements to modernize and update the facilities for the benefit of our families. In 2000, a new addition was made to the west side of the building that included several new administration offices, a new lobby, and a state-of-the art preparation area. Our facilities are spacious, comfortable, and accommodating for any kind of funeral or memorial service. All cremations are performed in our family-owned crematory, where our licensed and certified staff ensure that every step of the cremation process is completed correctly and with great care.
Our funeral home in Ogden is staffed by the most experienced and compassionate professionals in funeral service, who treat every family as their own. Many are Ogden natives who enjoy the same activities and frequent the same spots as the families we serve. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to run into one of our staff members kayaking on the Ogden River, hiking in the Wasatch National Forest, participating in Ogden’s Spring Run Off Marathon, or enjoying a cone at Farr Better Ice Cream. Not only do staff enjoy the community, but they make efforts to give back to it in every way they can. Myers Mortuary’s president, Shaun Myers, serves as secretary/treasurer for the Ogden Weaver Chamber, and Brandon Patterson, manager of our Evergreen Memorial Park, spends much of his free time participating as a board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Weaver County.
